Are you looking for ways to experience the more enchanted aspects of the world or to support daily practice after experiencing the wonders of life through ceremony, deep nature connection, or working with sacred plant medicines?
What if there was a way to maintain this sense of wonder in everyday life? To enliven experience, increase vitality, and restore an understanding of the deeper meaning of life?
What if psychological and emotional disturbances, bouts with depression, and lack of direction aren’t evidence of personal shortcoming but instead are a consequence of living in a disconnected society that doesn't view the world as alive?
Awaken animistic awareness of our interconnected existence to cultivate joy and well-being through the practical remembrance of the deep wisdom that lives within everyone.
What to Expect
As a participant of this course you will:
learn practical techniques to develop interconnected relationships to deepen your understanding of self and world.
lessen the stress of being a sensitive person as you learn ways to support the expression of your gift of sensitive interconnectivity.

become a more integrated human as you step out of old paradigm challenges of “changing who you are” and into relational ways of being that trust your body’s innate processes of renewal.
explore techniques of animistic inquiry and access intuitive understanding to find clarity and a sense of guided direction in your life.
develop a wider sense of purpose and become a more respectfully participating citizen of Planet Earth.
General format and Curriculum
The course consists of two 10-hour modules each of which include:
inspirational readings and other materials to stimulate inquiry and broaden understanding of animistic practices and ways of being.
two Wednesday evening Zoom sessions from 6-8pm PT. Each session begins with a presentation of relevant material. A guided, experiential space of learning follows to support our embodied understanding of the subject matter.
one Saturday in-person or Zoom integration session, 10am-5pm PT, rounds out the module. These sessions incorporate group work and experiential practices to bring our work into more vibrant expression.
The modules open us to ever-expanding spheres of connection, and though appearing linear in outline, the elements of each will reverberate throughout the entire trajectory of our journey. In other words, we will rethink and reclaim animism, reengage ecologies of perception and sensation, remember who we are, and connect with our greater ecological selves throughout the wholeness of the course.
REFUNDS
If for some reason you cannot attend after submitting your payment, we will gladly issue a refund minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be issued once classes begin.

For the vast majority of our existence, humans have engaged with the world in animistic ways. The anthropological understanding of the term, animism, has changed in recent years and many are rethinking and redefining it to more accurately reflect the often misunderstood indigenous ways of being to which the term initially referred.
For proponents of these new understandings, animism is not simply a belief that everything is alive or has a soul. At its heart, the new animisms recognize that all beings exist in interconnected webs of reciprocal relationship and that humans, in order to thrive, must respectfully participate with and tend these relationships.
We understand the importance of reclaiming animistic ways of being that make sense for people living in modern techno-industrial society. Copying the ways of traditional cultures perpetuates the harms of colonialism and, in the end, is not a pathway toward establishing mutually supportive cultural formations.
We instead invite participants of this course to trust that the capacity for intimate ecological engagement exists as a living force within all humans. As such we offer ourselves as vessels of experiential awareness to awaken and remember animistic modes of engagement that respect and honor the beings with whom we share this planetary home.
